 I, Rachel Cannady, accept the nomination for VP and treasurer. From the moment that I first heard about a community/service- oriented group ar SIRLS, I was onboard! I am excited that I have been able to work with PLG from the very beginning and am honored to have faculty members come and ask me questions as an additional "go-to" person. Since I am an officer for only one other club and I have been involved with presentations and organization from the beginning, I know that I have the time to devote to this budding new organization.  My energy and heart are definitely involved in this adventure and I am honored to be nominated for this position.

I, Nicole Pagowsky, accept the nomination for President. I was very excited to start a club directed towards more activism and community ties in our program. There are many opportunities to positively use activism in librarianship, and I'm thrilled we'll have the ability to as an official club. I have a colorful background in leadership and diy organizing, through independently founding and planning a successful sexual health fest for three years in Madison, WI; being an active volunteer at my undergrad radio station; and the other officer positions I currently have this semester with SLA and LSO. I feel my background, experience, and enthusiasm make me a good candidate for this position, and hope you will elect me for President! Thanks :)
